Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. This marks the second year that Midland Air has participated in this incredible event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit financing research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial help for families.
Midland Air Service Experts raised $1000 for this great cause and the nationwide event has collected over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her dad’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids every year.
“My dad’s motorcycle club rides every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t exactly a motorcycle group. “We just do it because we love the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and sponsoring great events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To find out more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, go to their site.
